The California Independent Film Festival (CAIFF), one of the most successful and fastest growing film festivals in California, has selected Project Happiness as a main feature in the documentary category for its 2014 season. The film will be screened on September 12 at the Orinda Theater near Berkeley, CA.
The ninety-minute feature was produced and directed by John Sorensen, Grace Creek Media's VP of Production. Andrew Walworth, president of Grace Creek Media, and Randy Taran, founder of The Project Happiness Foundation, are co-executive producers.
To date, Project Happiness has been a selected feature at more than 30 international film festivals and won several awards including The Indie Fest and the Los Angeles Surge Film Festival. As the centerpiece of an ongoing awareness campaign, the film has been screened in high schools nationwide as an introduction to Project Happiness, a nonprofit educational organization.
The film is now available in Spanish and has been translated into six other languages.
